You Say You Want A Revolution

Well you know we all want to change the world… as penned by Lennon & MvCartney the sentiment is poignant for anyone wanting to change the world we’re looking to change is in men’s pants… specifically their Junk.. Junk Underjeans that is.

Junk Underjeans is a newly launched brand of fashion men’s underwear styled to go beyond the generic men’s 3 pack.

Louise Lai, a relatively recent FiDM grad and Sean Gregg an established menswear designer have partnered to start such a revolution. We look at men’s underwear as being the last frontier of changeable fashion. Every clothing category has been focused on and designed into fashion classification except for men’s underwear. Not only did we feel that there was a place for a change in the market, but we also felt that a revolution was due.

With the fashion trend of men’s briefs being worn above the belt and paraded around on nearly every reality show on the air it was time that men had something to show beyond their tighty-whities.

The product is about style, but it’s also about fit, comfort and quality. We use 60 singles cotton for a fine soft handfeel and blend it with spandex for stretch and recovery. The collection has a variety of designs to choose from ranging from casual abstract prints to sophisticated with style and are offered in an assortment of fits including boxers, boxer briefs and briefs with the most popular being the boxer brief trunks.

The initial collections have been more trend directed showing the influence of skulls and tattoos as a way to get attention and establish the brand. Going we’re focusing on our own unique look, more of an American feel where we can establish our own brand identification. Kind of like a band starting out doing cover songs and evolving to writing and showcasing their own music. Even trade marking the term “Underjeans” as a way to set them apart from average underwear has already proven to establish both uniqueness as well as giving us almost instant brand recognition.

As we look to the future we’re very excited about where we’re headed and will be looking to be introducing a women’s collection as well in the upcoming year and believe that we’ll be able to set ourselves apart in the category as well. But for now we’re focusing on starting a revolution by making men’s Junk look good.

It’s not your ordinary underwear…it’s Junk Underjeans!
